3️⃣ Expression Tips & Cultural Notes
When saying “go to” or “be at” a place, use –에 가요 / –에 있어요.
When saying “do something at” a place, use –에서 (location of action).→ e.g., 도서관에서 공부해요. / 카페에서 커피를 마셔요.
Public places like 병원 (hospital), 은행 (bank), or 도서관 (library) always use polite tone.
“시장” means traditional market, while “마트 / 슈퍼마켓” means modern store.
