Korean Slang — 꿀잼 (ggul-jaem): Meaning, Examples & Practice

꿀잼 is a combination of “꿀” (honey) and “잼” (short for 재미, meaning fun).

It literally means “honey fun,” and is used to describe something super fun, highly entertaining, or extremely enjoyable.

It's the opposite of 노잼 (no fun) and very common in everyday speech, YouTube comments, and memes.

“이 영화 진짜 꿀잼이야!”
(This movie is seriously so fun!)
“요즘 그 유튜브 채널 꿀잼이라 맨날 봐.”
(That YouTube channel is super fun—I watch it every day.)
“드라마 전개가 꿀잼이라서 밤새 정주행했어.”
(The drama was so fun I binge-watched it all night.)
“그 사람 이야기 너무 꿀잼이야.”
(That person’s stories are so entertaining.)
“예능 보다가 꿀잼 포인트에서 빵 터졌어.”
(I burst out laughing at the funniest part of the show.)

A:“그 드라마 어때? 볼만해?”

(How’s that drama? Is it worth watching?)

B:“완전 꿀잼이야. 시작하면 멈출 수가 없어!”

(It’s totally fun. Once you start, you can’t stop!)

“요즘 꿀잼이라고 느낀 콘텐츠가 있었나요?”
(Have you watched or done anything recently that felt super fun?)
“당신에게 진짜 꿀잼인 콘텐츠는 어떤 스타일이에요?”
(What kind of content is truly fun for you?)
