    → I read a book.

  7. 연필로 글씨를 써요.(yeom-pil-lo geul-ssi-reul sseo-yo.)

    → I write with a pencil.



  8. 지우개로 글씨를 지워요.(ji-u-gae-ro geul-ssi-reul ji-wo-yo.)

    → I erase with an eraser.



  9. 책상 위에 책이 있어요.(chaek-ssang wi-e chae-gi i-sseo-yo.)

    → There is a book on the desk.



  10. 저는 의자에 앉아요.(jeo-neun ui-ja-e an-ja-yo.)

    → I sit on a chair.



  11. 내일 시험이 있어요.(nae-il si-heo-mi i-sseo-yo.)

    → I have a test tomorrow.



  12. 오늘 숙제를 해야 해요.(o-neul suk-jje-reul hae-ya hae-yo.)

    → I have to do my homework today.



  13. 저는 매일 공부해요.(jeo-neun mae-il gong-bu-hae-yo.)

    → I study every day.



  14. 지금 수업이 시작돼요.(ji-geum su-eo-bi si-jak-dwae-yo.)

    → The class is starting now.



  15. 저는 학교 친구랑 놀아요.(jeo-neun hak-kkyo chin-gu-rang no-ra-yo.)

    → I hang out with my school friend.





3️⃣ Expression Tips & Cultural Notes



  • 선생님 → Always add “님” to show respect. “선생” alone sounds rude.


  • 공부하다 → 공부 (study) + 하다 (to do) → 공부해요 = “I study.”


  • 학교 친구 → Koreans often specify: “대학교 친구” (college friend) or “회사 친구” (work friend).


  • 숙제 → Literally “homework,” but also used for “tasks” at work or home.
