• To say your nationality, use 나라 + 사람 (country + person).→ 한국 사람 (Korean person), 미국 사람 (American person).

  
  

• To say where you’re from, use ~에서 왔어요 (“came from”).→ “저는 일본에서 왔어요.” (I came from Japan.)

  
  

• The polite question form:→ “어느 나라 사람이에요?” = “Which country are you from?”

  
  

• Fun fact 🇰🇷: In Korean, “Korea” can also be said as 대한민국 (Dae-han-min-guk) —a more formal or patriotic version used in official settings.
