  • “모양 (shape)” is a very common word in Korean — it can mean both form and appearance.(예: “이 모양이 좋아요” = “I like this design.”)


  • 동그라미 / 세모 / 네모 are native Korean words used even by adults in daily life.(예: “네모 버튼 눌러요.” → “Press the square button.”)


  • When describing objects, use 모양이에요 (~shaped) to indicate the form.Example: 하트 모양 케이크예요 → “It’s a heart-shaped cake.”


  • In Korean design and geometry contexts, people often use 도형, 입체, and 평면 to distinguish between 2D and 3D forms.
