These are words you’ll hear every day in Korean cities, signs, and conversations.

한국의 교통이 편리해요.(han-gu-ge gyo-to-ngi pyeon-ri-hae-yo.)
→ Transportation in Korea is convenient.
버스를 타요.(beo-seu-reul ta-yo.)
→ I take the bus.
지하철이 빨라요.(ji-ha-cheo-ri ppal-la-yo.)
→ The subway is fast.
택시를 탔어요.(taek-si-reul ta-sseo-yo.)
→ I took a taxi.
기차를 기다려요.(gi-cha-reul gi-da-ryeo-yo.)
→ I am waiting for the train.

→ Transportation fare in Korea is cheap.

When using public transport verbs:→ 타다 (to get on), 내리다 (to get off), 갈아타다 (to transfer).
“정류장” = bus stop / “역” = subway or train station.
T-Money transportation cards work for buses, subways, and convenience stores in Korea!
Traffic jam = 길이 막히다, very common expression.
