Hello, Korean learners! It's Soona. If you ever plan to visit Korea, autumn is arguably the most magical season to do so. The weather is crisp, the leaves turn stunning shades of red and yellow, and most importantly, it is the season of '축제' (Festivals)!
From October to November, every region in Korea hosts unique and spectacular festivals. The most famous one is the 'Seoul International Fireworks Festival' (서울세계불꽃축제) where millions gather along the Han River to watch the night sky illuminate.
Down south, the 'Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival' (진주남강유등축제) lights up the river with thousands of floating lanterns carrying people's wishes. And for Instagram lovers, visiting silver grass and pink muhly fields to take the perfect autumn photo has become a huge cultural trend!
